This licence covers the Snitt app for Mac. It works together with the terms of use and the privacy policy.
1. Licence grant
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the Snitt app on devices you control, for as long as you have an account in good standing.
2. Restrictions
You may not copy the app for others, sell or sublicense it, or work around its account and metering mechanisms. You may not reverse engineer or modify the app, except that nothing here restricts your rights under the licenses of the bundled open-source components — you remain free to inspect, modify and rebuild those components as their licenses allow. See the open source page.
3. Third-party components
The app bundles open-source software listed on the open source page, with the corresponding source code available at download.snitt.ai/source. Those components are licensed to you under their own terms, which prevail over this licence for those components.
4. Updates
The app checks for updates and can install them automatically. Updates are signed by us and may be required to keep using the service.
5. Purchases
Snitt is currently free while in beta. When paid plans launch, billing, refund and cancellation terms will be added here before any charge is made.
6. Warranty and liability
The app is provided “as is”, without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited as set out in the terms of use. Keep your own copies of your footage.
7. Termination
This licence ends when your account ends or if you break these terms. On termination, uninstall the app. Sections 3 and 6 survive.
